Happy Tuesday, witches and litches! Anyone's week going like this?

This is an older piece from artist Kosal, but still one of my favorites. Hopefully your week has less flaming disasters in it.

Mine's been relatively disaster free, but with all this blasting Florida heat and humidity, all I want right now are cool Halloween vibes.

Plus I'm always here for stubby unicorns and pumpkin kids in hoodies.

Not Halloween, exactly, but this reminds me of the girl from The Ring - which makes the rubber duckies that much better:

Loish brought us straight FIRE this week:

This may be my favorite in a long list of Loish favorites. The smokey flames, the billowing hair, the thoughtful expression... it's like she's considering what to burn down next.

First up, AT-AT snack-snacks!

Anyhoo, don't you just want to pop these sweeties in your mouth for a big satistying CHOMP?

Well DON'T, they're made of resin and clay and stuff. Which is even better, because this way they last forever and won't attract those tiny sugar ants you think are just specks of dust until they start moving and freak you out at 3AM. Hypothetically.

The creator of the AT-AT Snack-Snacks, Fiona of Prismatic Brush, actually specializes in cute dinosaur sculpts. Except they're not just dinosuars; sometimes they're dinosaur/vegetable hybrids with punny names:

 First up, the dreamy, ghostly, floaty art of Moonbound Studio:

How are these spirits so CUTE? I love the lil peeking ones in back. It's like the Knights Who Say Ni came back to haunt the forest and ask wandering magical girls for shrubberies.

The artist, Sierra, loves mythology, nature, and magic, which pretty well sums up her style:

I can't get enough of her floating ghost ladies, they're my favorite:

Sierra even has a few fandom pieces from Avatar and Disney, though it may take you a second to recognize some of them.

This Painted Lady from Avatar is pretty easy to spot, but I stared at her Elsa for a few seconds before realizing who it was. I love it when an artist puts her own spin on a character like that!

Next, an artist right here in Florida just finished painting the MOST incredible rainbow room for her kid, and I am in awe. IN AWE I SAY:

Kartoniq is the self-proclaimed "Owlcat Lady" who combines two of my favorite things: OWLS AND CATS.

And it's so hard to pick a favorite!

I've especially loved barn owls since Labyrinth, so it delights me to no end to imagine Jareth the Owlcat chasing around crystal balls, scratching up the goblins' favorite armor, and slowly sliding their drinks off tables without breaking eye contact:

Kartoniq if you write a comic about Jareth the owlcat I will love you forever.

Kartoniq doesn't ONLY paint owlcats, btw. Sometimes she paints just cats:

Christina Marie Rodriquez only has about 800 followers, and let me tell you: it's such a thrill finding talented artists with a criminally low following, like finding secret treasure. :D Especially since I know you bots will overwhelm her with some Friendly FOE love once you see this:

I told John I must be losing my mind, but he says this is just a lovely little quarantine gift and I should just go with it. So here we go, going with it!

Spooky WEARABLE Art Roundup For Halloween!

It's not quite October yet, but I am LOVING all the Halloween goodness flooding my feeds. So to help get you in the spooky spirit, too, I thought I'd do a themed round-up this time - and with an emphasis on WEARABLE art. Because let's face it: even if we're out of wall space, there's always room for more jewelry, pins, and accessories!

More for you Disney fans: Le Petit Mouse is another of my favorite makers, and her Halloween offerings this year are blowing my mind. I'm pretty sure these are the most beautiful Mickey ears I've ever seen:

 Both the ears and the center bat have a color-shifting holographic finish that is absolutely spell-binding. (Get it? :D)
