Cuteness & Art Winners!

I have a long photo post coming up, but I didn't want to bury the announcement of this month's art winners, SO...

SQUEAKY KOALAS!

They sound like deflating rubber toys. Ha!

A plush Otto from Otto & Victoria!

According to Brian Kesinger, these will be eventually be available for sale. Yay!
( If you're not familiar, check out his art and/or book. So much goodness.)

And finally,  Disney Princesses as piles of rocks.

Try not to take them for granite.

(By Kevin Bolk.)

Now, art winner time! All randomly selected, but I did have to bounce around a bit to find folks who wanted certain prints.

And since most of you had more than one prize choice, allow me to... [dramatic announcer voice] TELL YOU WHAT YOU'VE WON!!

(Lots of common names here, so make sure your name matches your art choice, k? 'Cuz if it doesn't, it's not you.)

- Tabitha H. gets "Spring Fish!"

- "One Of The Sarahs" gets the much coveted Katie Cook Robot ACEO!

- "Tree" gets the Myka Jelina Mermaid!

- "Llaregyb" gets the Jasmine Beckett-Griffith blue-haired fairy!

- Mandi gets the Beckett-Griffith frog pixie!

- Andrea gets the set of 3 Meredith Dillman fairies!

- Tiona gets the original Elaine Cox watercolor!

- Brie gets the Disney Cruise Line sketch!

- Lauren get the Becket-Griffith albino ferret fairy!

and last, but not least:

- Mrs. Nielson gets the original ACEO by A.G. Cook!

Congrats to all our winners, and thanks for helping me pare down my massive art stash! Please e-mail me your mailing addresses, along with the name you used here & your choice of art, so I don't get too confused packing up this many pieces at once.

Next up, stay tuned for a photo report on John's & my latest crazy project, and of course, more cosplay!

  1. I'm so sad I didn't comment in time on your last post! Ah, well.

You've inspired me not only to attend a con (well, and expo) on my own this year, but also to buy a ton of art from artists and give some of it away. It's so much fun, plus you know your money is going to the talented, hard-working artists who come up with these amazing creations!

Just wanted to say thanks. :)

  5. Awww, I didn't win. (But out of 800+ who commented, they are a lucky 10!) BUT I loved the Stanley Morrison dragons so much that I'm totally getting a set of three prints for my husband for Christmas for our kitchen. Strawberry, blackberry and blueberry. Love your posts, and you are so awesome to share the talents of others.

  6. My bank account would be so much happier if Kesinger would just stop making adorable shit. I have no self control when it comes to Otto and Victoria. None.

    Congrats to all the winners!

  10. *Kermit the frog arms flailing* Yaaaaaaaaayyyyy I won! lol. Congrats to all the winners.
Can I just say the princesses as piles of rocks is going to have my chuckling for awhile. Not to mention every time I see a pile of rocks I may envision tiaras and such, lol.

  11. That koala video is gold. First the unreal sounds they make, then the pan round for just a moment to see the man laughing, then the end with the koala that started the altercation looking almost embarrassed. So funny! Thanks for that.

  12. Well, coffee just burned the inside of my nose. Thanks for the Disney princesses as piles of rocks, and the "don't take them for granite" was brilliant. I love puns too much.

  14. Disney Princess Rocks are just fantastic! The designs should be on tshirts for little girls to wear!
I'm sad I didn't win any art, but the chances were really slim considering how many people always comment on your posts. Maybe next time!

  15. Have you seen "Worlds Cutest Frog - Desert Rain Frog"? If not, check him out on you-tube, he would get on well with the koalas.

  16. Jen, you are so dang generous. 10 winners this time? That's awesome (even though I didn't win).

  17. And a funny note about Koalas--at a zoo in Australia one of our guides was saying that Koalas are basically good-for-nothing except tourism. He said they destroy the forests, stink, and basically do nothing for the ecosystem. But I still think they're pretty dang cute to watch.
