August Art Roundup: Sleepy Badgers, Neverland Maps, & Kawaii Witches!

It's time to look at pretty art! Woot woot!

Here are my favorite finds this month:

Gowen Illustration has some of the most gorgeous animal pieces. Look at these sleepy sweeties:

This Hufflepuff needs that badger.

Those are stickers, but she also has necklaces:

...including this cool double-sided dino:

...and of course prints!

Galaxy tiger!

Go check out Gowen's Etsy shop, Sushi Studios, to see the rest. You should also follow her on Instagram!

*****

It's been a while since I featured You Found Jacob, and he's got some great new pieces:

These two are the only ones available in Jacob's Etsy shop, but follow him on Instagram for more pretties like these:

Plus he sells most of his stuff at conventions, so look for him at Dragon Con this weekend if you're going!

*****

Cloverkin Art also specializes in animals, and is famous for her pet portraits wearing armor. Ha!  Her style is warm and pure old-world fantasy:

So sweet!

I especially love this Owl Sticker Pack:

And since I'm a sucker for owls in general, here's one more:
Go see the rest in her Etsy shop!

*****

Alisa Vysochina mostly paints in watercolors, but her colors are super vivid:

Sadly Vysochina's Etsy shop is on a break right now, so you'll have to bookmark it. BUT! Go follow her on Instagram for...

 CUTE CORGI BUTTS.

And more pretties like this:

***

Looks like I have an unintentional animal theme going this month, because next up is Donavon Brutus and his "Super Fancy Party" print:
Donavon does the coolest stuff with lines and circles, and this print of Lion is my absolute favorite:

Almost an Art Deco feel, right? SO GOOD.

Go see the rest of Donavon's prints in his Society 6 shop, although I don't see Lion there, so he may only sell that one at conventions. You can also give Donavon a follow over on Instagram!

*****

And finally, if you love all things Kawaii and pastel, then you're gonna flip for Sweet Grotesquery:

Although I really like her darker pieces, too:

Check out the Sweet Grotesquery Red Bubble store for everything from prints to t-shirts, then give her a follow on Instagram for more awesome art; she does some swoon-worthy marker commissions, but somehow only has 200 followers?! Yeah. Let's fix that.

*****

Hope you guys had fun looking at the pretties!

Now, let's give away some art.

As always, comment below for a chance to win your choice of free art from my Pinterest Art Give-Away Board. In addition to one wild card winner, I'll also pick two more of you to win these:

("Moose & Squirrel", signed 11X17 print by Hihoshi)

("Indiana Jones", signed 12X18 print by Peter Santa-Maria)

Be sure to tell me in your comment if you like either/both of these, so I can enter you in those drawings, too! Internationals welcome; I'll ship anywhere, 'cuz I make John do all the post office runs. [wicked grin]

Winners will be announced in my very next post, so be sure to check back! Unclaimed art will go to the fastest commenters on Facebook - so make sure you're following me on Facebook, too!

Happy commenting!

UPDATE: The give-away has ended!

The winner of the Supernatural print is Holley G.
The winner of the Indiana John print is Raienya
And my wildcard winner is Catmania!

Congrats, you three, and please e-mail me your mailing addresses!
