In a push-back against the increasingly bland "Sexy Fill-In-The-Blank" flooding the market, these options are refreshingly imaginative and detailed, drawing from historical figures, folklore, ancient religions, and a little of everything, really.

There's also a quick write-up on the character, which is surprisingly educational. I spotted quite a few names I've never heard before - like Chialchiuhtlicue here, the Aztec goddess of water:
