I'm not going to bite your head off or anything - if anything, I'm inclined to agree with you. <br /><br />That said, I know many insect artists only use bugs that have died of natural causes, and I have no problem with preserving beauty in that way. In fact, every butterfly reserve (is that the right term?) I've been to (& I've been to 6 or 7) sells mounted butterflies; they collect the insects that have died each day to preserve.
