I think maybe 2 sets of shelves, one for the minifigs and the others for the vehicles. Then I can set them either side of my dimensions base. That's how they sit now, but they are hard to find the right person/vehicle in their current state. My Pops are all on shelves. But I have no more space, so I haven't bought more pops. Our mutual love for "C&B" was one of the things we bonded over as we were falling in love. *warm squishy fuzzies all around*

My husband not a sentimental person: he doesn't collect pictures or mementos or knick-knacks or any of that sort of thing (unlike his hoarder wife!) except for his book collection, he's pretty sentimental about his reads, ESPECIALLY that "Calvin and Hobbes" collection. (And stuff I have a hand in, but I digress.)

Before we were married, I moved L.A. to try and find work while establishing residency for school, while he stayed behind in Colorado and continued to look for work that would bring him to L.A. This was pretty rough on us, naturally, and he knew I was an anxious mess about it: I was sure that the long-distance relationship strain would inevitably lead him to regain his sanity, see the error of his ways and run screaming for the hills and break up with me. So on the night I finished packing up my car, getting ready for the long drive out there, he brought his "Calvin and Hobbes" and packed it into the remaining space in my car. ^_^Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1724594058209899258.post-37007670947819025992016-07-15T21:08:41.017-04:002016-07-15T21:08:41.017-04:00The one I made is pretty sturdy. I have a question though & a comment; how thick is the foam board you used? Our store had several thicknesses and based on your pictures we choose a kind of medium weight/thickness but wondered if you had actual measurements?

Also - our store didn't have the mirrored scrapbook paper. But it did have mirrored POSTERBOARD so if people want to avoid the seam line on their own projects - the larger sheets should help (you'll have tons leftover but I'm sure another applications will present itself. :-p ) (For reference we found our supplies at Hobby Lobby.)

Thanks again Jen & John,THOJ Maggiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11939846724039938607noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1724594058209899258.post-80744925850990708332016-06-27T09:12:45.079-04:002016-06-27T09:12:45.079-04:00Oooh, this is actually simple enough for me to do!...Oooh, this is actually simple enough for me to do!
