A bunc..."The 4400" is pretty interesting. A bunch of people who have gone missing over the course of 50 or so years all show up at once in a lake in present day, having not aged from the moment when they went missing, and certain ones end up having these supernatural abilities. I'm kind of impatient when it comes to TV shows, so I didn't watch the whole thing, but season 1 was excellent.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1724594058209899258.post-28722463769806377912013-11-04T19:08:41.185-05:002013-11-04T19:08:41.185-05:00Thirded! had it recommended by a friend last month...Thirded! had it recommended by a friend last month and ran out on Friday...Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1724594058209899258.post-213579298022242632013-11-01T17:16:29.486-04:002013-11-01T17:16:29.486-04:00Haven is great! The idea is pretty interesting, though some of the episodes tend towards lame/cheez. It's got enough moments though to keep me watching and waiting for the second half of this season.
Once Upon A Time is one I skipped when it came out, but I'm enjoying it. I love seeing how they work the different story lines together and try to give all the characters a back story. For example, we all know who Captain Hook is in the Peter Pan story, but tomorrow we learn how he grew up to be like that. And the main character is just enough of a skeptic to keep it from falling over into mushy, she makes sure that everyone remembers that there is a 'real' world.
I love LOVE Dresden Files. This is the second time my wife has been disturbed by my tortured scream - first, at the end of watching that last episode of Alphas as Gary wandered the sea of bodies and Paul Simon sang the song that I'll never hear again without tearing up. I made it a point to not look up anything about the third season, which leads to the second scream, upon your saying that there is no season 3!!! I'm going to die a little more inside now. Thanks.
Maybe I should just stop watching series on Netflix. ... HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA yeah right.
(But... Gary...
