I think it's an awesome idea and gives me the ability to be wear a "cute" costume rather than a sleazy one. I do wish one was available in stores, though, so I wouldn't have to worry about making the hat! :)Jessica B, Future DVMhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10419232273449494806noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1724594058209899258.post-20270651919066121692010-10-10T05:46:45.406-04:002010-10-10T05:46:45.406-04:00My roommate went as Stay-Puft for Halloween last y...My roommate went as Stay-Puft for Halloween last year... don't know about cute, but he was convincing!Nellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14156653384602360173noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1724594058209899258.post-24157322502426398052010-10-10T05:05:26.471-04:002010-10-10T05:05:26.471-04:00I agree that they have gotten out of hand. My mom has all the pictures or I would scan one in, because it was awesome. My mom made the costume for him, and it was similar to the little boy's here, except that my brother's had a hilarious puffy hood to fit around his face and make his cheeks puff out. We were trick or treating in Minnesota, so the hood served two purposes, and served them well.Jamiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15944982720671009406noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1724594058209899258.post-24307544489693486552010-10-09T17:26:18.894-04:002010-10-09T17:26:18.894-04:00Ha, ha..."don't forget yer goat leggings!...Ha, ha..."don't forget yer goat leggings!" The teen outfits can be especially disturbing; have you SEEN the "JailBait" costume? For TEENS?!? (/rant)

That said, I think the D*C gal did a great job making her costume cute-but-not-sleazy. And Howard's post was definitely poking fun at the whole "sassy" costume phenomenon. It seems everyone agrees they're ridiculous and in bad taste, but until women stop buying them the companies won't stop making them!Jenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11888187687405622408noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1724594058209899258.post-22801652607328543732010-10-09T16:35:11.561-04:002010-10-09T16:35:11.561-04:00Holy smokes! that first Stay Puffed idea looks ve...Holy smokes! that first Stay Puffed idea looks very similar in design to the unicorn costume I was thinking of making for Halloween...I may have to rethink my strategy!Geekluvnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1724594058209899258.post-15681596125656467732010-10-09T16:25:46.387-04:002010-10-09T16:25:46.387-04:00I love Ghostbusters, and I love the Stay-Puft mars...I love Ghostbusters, and I love the Stay-Puft marshmallow man, but it really irritates the crap out of me that so many Halloween costumes for women have to be sexxxxxy. Can't we be marshmallow girls WITHOUT tight/skimpy clothes that show off our legs and boobs? I like to dress up for the fun of becoming something (or someone) else for a while, without having to worry that I'm insufficiently pornified at the same time.MJhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06640433929046858372noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1724594058209899258.post-55671419166491387882010-10-09T16:21:00.788-04:002010-10-09T16:21:00.788-04:00What about these? http://www.thinkgeek.com/caffei...What about these? http://www.thinkgeek.com/caffeine/candy/e59b/

Heh.Lohquessenoreply@blogger.com
