Great work.

I know this suggestion doesn't really fit with your current style, but I am so enamored with this stuff I just had to mention it... you are both so creative I bet you can think of cool uses... EL Wire. (electroluminescent wire) it is like teensy flexible neon lights in appearance. It comes in different colors and diameters and with or without a flat tab running the length for easy sewing to projects.

I intended to build a frosted glass desk and line the back and sides with blue or white EL wire midway down the thickness of the glass top and maybe even routed into the edge.

It is such pretty, shiny stuff. In the realm of steam punk you could use it to add interior lighting to cool gadgets where the wire is not directly visible, just the glow. Maybe use orange, red or yellow to give a less contemporary glow.

But really I just want to be one of your cats.RbeforeEhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16810840397374763442noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1724594058209899258.post-3871758820261859942010-08-12T00:12:37.533-04:002010-08-12T00:12:37.533-04:00Stainless steel, all the way on the work surface. ...Stainless steel, all the way on the work surface.
