It showed someone walking at night then the screen looks up at the stars and i think a dragon or some type of monster flying in the sky. The other game was on a different system but it look like a fighting game and i know it wasnt mortal kombat cause there was no blood lol. Anyway i barly remember it but one of the stages was on top of a montian and i think one of the characters was a human bird thing and they had difderent monsters So hopefully one of you guys can help me to find the games im looking for lol
Harold Burton

Harold Burtonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09229999934306781781noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1724594058209899258.post-68451379975755578902019-01-15T00:21:46.179-05:002019-01-15T00:21:46.179-05:00Loved it. My unimaginative suggestion for analysis is the main theme of Final Fantasy 7. Some nice crunchy chords in there – the first time I tried my hand at the piano arrangement I kept double checking because I thought I was getting the chords wrong! I’d also love just about anything from Final Fantasy 12 or Chrono Trigger 🙂
Regards: eve hunt
zaved khanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16413172681622855716noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1724594058209899258.post-51925960829380118362010-12-17T04:45:39.920-05:002010-12-17T04:45:39.920-05:00Grr. We *did* have Pong, then several Ataris and eventually a C64.

Reading through the comments brought back memories. Played Zork, Centipede, Missile Command, Jumpman, Castle Wolfenstein, Bard's Tale, Pac-Man, and Impossible Mission - I really enjoyed Continuity but I kept expecting the little guy to scream on the way down :p

There were some text-based games - I think one was called Kingdom and it ran off a cassette player that hooked up to the Atari. Oh, and I still enter numbers from the top of the keyboard instead of the keypad a lot of the time - from back when we used to get the computer magazines every month and enter lines and lines of machine language to get new games on the machine!

Later on, Tetris & Carmen San Diego sucked up a lot of my time; Sim City too.

Arcade-wise: Space Invaders, Galaxian, Tempest, Centipede, Pac-Man...I remember watching people playing Dragon's Lair when it was the hot new thing.

Geek note: I'm looking forward to the new Tron movie; I have my Threadless shirt & everything. :)hyphen8noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1724594058209899258.post-8967949232930227632010-11-09T08:55:51.154-05:002010-11-09T08:55:51.154-05:00To Shelly B, Michelle, et, and shelly... My sis and I would play for hours, nothing but a box with 2 knobs, and 2 switches, you could play hockey, tennis, or ping pong, and when you needed to take a pee break, you could align the "paddles" so they were completely even and the "ball" would just float back and forth until you moved one of them. (: It took me forever to convince my parents to buy the Colecovision console (Yes before Atari) and we had smurf, where in the first round, if you just jumped up and down in front of Smurfette instead of rescuing her, she would drop her dress. And thank you to you who finally mentioned Donkey Kong, which almost no one else here is old enough to remember is the ORIGINAL Mario game. But if I had to pick a favorite game, it would be Carnival, for the Coleco.Amandahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07883413511264626259noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1724594058209899258.post-65754246690428046592010-10-31T16:02:04.931-04:002010-10-31T16:02:04.931-04:00Heh. I didn't get into those games much because I never had the money to waste at an arcade, frankly. Therefore I never got very good at any of them. Tempest, though, was fun and more rewarding because I could get through several levels before losing . . .

It seems to me that we did actually have a Pong game at one point --ages ago, of course--but I don't remember playing it much.
