Lily's Christmas Card

This was the card we sent out this year - and I'm still not sure how many people noticed John's little Easter egg:

 :D

Whatever you're celebrating this season, I hope you have an incredible day filled with all the laughter, hugs, and good food you can stand.

And to those struggling to find the "merry and bright" right now: you're not alone. You're never alone. {hugs}

  1. First thing I looked for was a hidden Mickey in the light dots... Is it the robot head on Lily's jammies?

  7. My eyes flew right to the robot on the sweater! I think that's it? That is such a pretty and adorable picture! I also love the font choice against the dark, sparkly background.

  13. I want Epbot jammies! The buttons were a hit w/ my kids (they're battling for the portal one) but jams would be even better. You could list the print on Spoonflower for us sewing people =)

    The happiest of holidays to y'all!

  16. So sweet - love the Epbot jammies on Miss Lily. Merry Christmas to you, John, Lily, Tonks and your extended family too! May 2016 be peaceful for everyone. We all need to be reminded to take the time to breathe sometimes. I am grateful for you and John sharing your lives with us and reminding us that there is more out there to enjoy and to keep persevering.

  19. Hilariously enough, I didn't notice it until I saw this post. And then I gasped in delight - with a little bit of "How the heck did I not see it before?"
    Hope you guys had a great Christmas!

  20. Love the epbot- well done! Feel free to hope for merry and bright but find grace in being a place of warmth (yeah, I know, Florida) and comfort with a loved one.

  21. I know there is only a small chance you will see this, but I figured it's worth a shot. In February my husband and I are going on our honeymoon to Disneyworld (WOO!). But, my husband suffers from anxiety and panic attacks, and hasn't been to an amusement park in years (I think he thought it wouldn't be a problem, but the closer we get to our vacation, the worse his anxiety is getting). Do you have any advice on how to manage our visit there so if he needs to we can escape the crowds/or any techniques to help him get through it? Any advice from yourself or fellow readers would be amazing.

    1. Have him go in front of you in lines. He can stand as far back from the group before you as makes him comfortable, and you'll be the buffer behind him. Due to not being used to backpacks and cultural differences regarding personal space you get bumped a LOT in queues. Eat at off times, lunch before 11:30/after 1, dinner before 4/after 6:30. Know where first aid at each location is before entering the parks, you can go there if overwhelmed and just park on a cot for a bit to decompress. Watch Wishes from the Polynesian beach.

  22. Someone mentioned Spoonflower for the fabric and I concur! I would love to make jammies from an Epbot print.
